Pregnant on campus: A case study
Today I went to campus to buy the DVDs for my telecourse this semester. The looks I got from the folks around campus were an interesting mix of pity and horrified fascination. You'd think they had never seen a pregnant woman on campus. It was certainly a different reaction than I'm used to getting. It should be interesting to waddle in there in November to take my exams.

They all probably thought you just got knocked up!
Well, I did get knocked up!
There is actually a pregnant woman in my program right now so I am sure she would share you observations - my look to her was more quizzical "Hmmm, did she plan this to be due over christmas break? What if she is early? Man she is brave!!"
That's why I wanted to have the baby before I started the nursing program. I can't think of anything more miserable than trying to be pleasant to patients during morning sickness.
Smart thinking - I have shown restraint from asking her if it was planned or not!! I must remember that not all people want to talk and share as much as I!
