The long-dusty cobwebs in my brain have been swept away. I took my first exam this morning as a nursing student. About 20 minutes ago I found out that I passed my first exam as a nursing student with a 98%! Apparently I do have a science(ish) brain.
Glad you did so well! I was just discussing the effects of nursing school on test taking with some peers today. Right after you leave the test you feel like, "eh, I may have missed 3 or 4 (but in the back of your mind you know you failed_" then you get your score after checking online grades every 20 minutes you find out you only miss 1 (or 2) and your reaction is "Whew! But wait? Which one did I miss(and angrily promise that you will argue for that point)!!!" And then if you actually miss 0 (like I did yesterday) you refresh your screen 3 or 4 times to make sure that it doesn't magically change then chalk it up to luck. We can never be satisfied. If you are not feeling this way, give it a few semesters! Hugs and I'm glad you did well, its much better to get that cushion!
Thanks! My classmates and I have been discussing the exam via text message all evening. I think it's good to want to know what you missed. I'm pretty sure I missed a question about keloids. You can be sure I'll remember it for a long long time.
